Happy birthday, Betty White!
Today I learned upon logging onto WordPress that the US is passing some sort of internet censorship bill. Ostensibly it’s meant to reduce pirating and the illegal distribution of copyrighted materials, a noble cause, but censorship nonetheless.
I thought the US would be all up in arms about this (literally, as they have the right to bear arms). Americans usually are when they think some freedom is being infringed on i.e. freedom to choose to not to have health care insurance? I guess we’ll see what happens.
